Air, the Newcastle-born TV presenter who became famous after her role in the BBC series Byker Grove, will be used as the face of the campaign to help consumers understand the differences and benefits of organic milk. Air will be working with OMSCo until the end of March 2010 on the campaign.
Donna said: “I’ve always cared about what is in the food I eat, but this becomes even more important when you have a baby and only want what’s best for them. I want to keep my daughter’s diet as natural as possible and why wouldn’t I want the same for myself? Getting all the vitamins and minerals I need from my diet is so easy and helps me look healthy and feel great, too.”
Gill Crane, communications manager at the Organic Milk Suppliers’ Cooperative, said: “She’s the ideal campaign partner and we’re delighted that she and her daughter Freya enjoy organic milk. Together, we’re encouraging everyone to think more carefully about the quality and content of their food and drink and how this affects their own natural beauty. Most people don’t realise how much their diet affects their appearance. We know Donna has been a fan of organic for many years and she truly believes that outer beauty begins on the inside.”
