Dualit has introduced compostable capsules for its single origin coffees.
The new capsules including the pod, lid and protective bag are produced using corn starch material which is a renewable resource. This means that all the components can be placed in authorised collection scheme food waste bins for industrial composting.
The 100% compostable capsules will be broken down in approximately 90 days through the use of natural heat to become compost.
Made from high quality beans, which benefit from distinctive regional characteristics, Dualit single origin coffees include a Fairtrade coffee from Indonesia and an ethically sourced coffee from Southern India. Each premium coffee is grown in a single geographic location by groups of small farms, dedicated to supporting their communities and environment.
The single origin coffee capsules are compatible with all domestic drop through Nespresso and Dualit coffee machines.
