Funding for the expansion is said to be coming from banking resources, which will allow Eden Springs to grow organically and through acquisition.
The company currently serves about 60,000 customers in the UK. With the cash injection, turnover is expected to double to £60m within three years. With the expansion will come more jobs, adding to the current staff number of 375.
Jean-Marc Bolinger, MD of Eden Springs UK, told the BBC: “We will continue to develop our HQ in Blantyre and investments are planned in almost all areas of the business. This includes a commitment to developing new products, partnerships and business opportunities as well as investing significantly in the environmental sustainability of our production and distribution networks.”
