Premium water brand Fiji Water has announced the introduction of a new bottle featuring a flip-top ‘sports cap’, as the brand aims to increase its appeal among health-conscious consumers.
The new 700ml bottles will be introduced to US retailers in the coming months and will also be available through Fiji Water’s website.
Fiji Water claims the release of the flip-top bottle follows the surge in demand for its conventional water bottles over the last year, as the brand sold over two million bottles, a 50% year-on-year increase in sales.
According to the brand, the new bottle will appeal to its core audience of premium water consumers, while also attracting a new market of fitness enthusiasts.
The brand will also launch a wide-ranging advertising campaign to cover the release of the new bottle, which will include TV advertising, digital and print campaigns and promotional events.
Clarence Chia, vice-president of marketing at Fiji Water said: “Whether people are running, cycling or lifting, they need to hydrate, and the Fiji Water Sports Cap bottle is the perfect companion.
“The winning combination of our new bottle launch and our strategic fitness partnerships will help boost Fiji Water to be the premium bottled water of choice for fitness aficionados coast-to-coast.”
