Beam Inc has reported results for the third quarter of 2011. As a standalone spirits business, net sales increased 10% and diluted earnings per share rose 13% to $0.53 from $0.47 in the year-ago quarter, on an adjusted pro forma basis. Year-to-date, adjusted pro forma net sales are up 10% and diluted earnings per share are up 11%. Given the company’s strong year-to-date sales performance, Beam is on-track to achieve full-year results towards the high end of its 2011 earnings target range.
Dairy Crest sees H1 2011 revenue increase 2% to £796.2m and pre-tax profit grow 9% to £39.2m, with strong performances in Cheese and Spreads divisions offsetting lower Dairies division profits.

GAAP net income of $199.5m increases 151% over 2010; non-GAAP net income of $248.9m up 135% over 2010.
Asia Pacific Breweries posts a 28% increase in net profit to S$456.8m, boosted by an 18.4% growth in sales revenues to S$2.97bn.
