The newly merged flexible packaging manufacturers Prolamina and Ampac have announced their new name and revealed the unified company’s future branding.
The entity will be known as ProAmpac, after the two companies said that they would merge earlier in the year. The new name demonstrates the merged company’s “enhanced product offerings”, a spokesperson for ProAmpac said in a statement this afternoon.
ProAmpac includes four brand divisions including Prolamina, Ampac, Tulsack and Business Deposits Plus, which offer combined solutions in flexible packaging for the food and retail sectors. The company’s new logo takes Ampac’s green lettering as well as some of the motifs of Prolamina’s earlier branding to “reflect the company’s mission in providing a steadfast commitment to creative packaging solutions”.
ProAmpac CEO Greg Tucker said: “The ProAmpac name allows us to clearly reinforce our commitment to the flexible packaging industry while building on the momentum that our two merged companies provide. Using our core values of integrity, intensity, innovation and involvement, we can leverage the strengths of all our brand divisions, as well as our skilled teammates, for a greater global impact.”
