The team behind Kettle Chips has developed a new range of Kettle Ridge Crisps. To support the new range, Ben Collins is going to lead a Dodgem Derby Challenge from Wallop in Hampshire to London on 26 March.
Four custom-made dodgem cars, one for each of the four flavours, are being produced especially for the challenge. Consumers are invited to enter a weekly photo challenge – ‘Reveal the wallop?’ – on Facebook to win prizes, including places in the Derby. The campaign is being supported by Facebook advertising, PR activity, as well as competitions in the consumer press.
Launched in the UK in July 2010, the Kettle Ridge Crisps brand, already worth £4m, helped drive the strong Kettle performance over the Christmas period ahead of the total market (+19.7% vs +7% for the total market).
