US frozen yogurt chain Orange Leaf has partnered with national non-profit organisation No Kid Hungry for the third consecutive year, in order to help raise awareness and money towards the fight against childhood hunger.
Orange Leaf’s goal is to provide one million meals to hungry children in the US during September, which is National Hunger Awareness month. Every $1 donation equals 10 meals for a hungry child, and can consumers can participate by making one of three purchases. They can buy a limited-edition collectible cup for $1; a $3 pin-up with complimentary $1 voucher for their next visit; or a $10 limited edition T-shirt, with proceeds benefitting No Kid Hungry.
Orange Leaf president Geoff Goodman said: “With one in five children in America struggling with hunger, it is very important for us to give back to the communities we serve. We are focused on two things this September: to raise funds to provide one million meals to hungry children and to also raise awareness for this great cause during National Hunger Awareness Month. I am eager to see what we will achieve.”
