Swedish fruit cider brand Älska has expanded its range of packaging to include slimline cans, as well as introducing two new seasonal flavours.
The brand, whose name means “love” in Swedish, will launch new pear and lychee, and peach and raspberry flavours, to coincide with the busy summer trading period – and, in particular, to appeal to the late-night and festival-going audiences. The brand has made the new beverages drier than usual fruit ciders in a bid to attract new consumers.
The new varieties are available in 500ml bottles, while Älska will also make its existing Nordic berries and strawberry and lime varieties available in the new 330ml can format. The move was “a first for the fruit cider market”, the Norrköping-based company said.
