Using two coffee machines, it took 7 hours and 30 minutes to make the Colombian coffee reach the line of 7,608.68 litres – approximately 32,160 regular cups of coffee in one single cup.
Meanwhile, and what better to go with tea of coffee, in the UK another record was broken as the World’s Largest Toast Mosaic was revealed.
Museum curator Laura Hadland took six hours and used 600 loaves of bread – 9,852 slices – to turn a photo of her mother-in-law into an art exhibit, as a surprise gift for her 50th birthday.
Mrs Hadland was aided by 40 friends who used nine toasters to brown the slices of bread before arranging them into a 32ft 8in by 42ft image.
