Halo Top Creamery has released its first-ever exclusively Canadian pint collection, ahead of Canada day on 1 July.
The new range is available in three flavours, inspired by the nation’s sweet treats: Butter Tart, with a caramel base and butter tart filling swirls, pecan bits and flaky pie crust pieces; Maple Pecan, featuring caramel swirls and pecan pieces; and Chocolate Honeycomb, a honey-flavoured frozen dessert with chocolate fudge swirls and honeycomb nougat pieces.
The reduced-sugar brand says that each of the variants in its new range comes in at between 330-350kcal and 17-20g of protein per pint.
“We are so excited to build on our collection of pints and bars and offer our Canadian fans a line-up of flavours they can call their own,” said Ryan Roznowski, brand manager at Halo Top.
“Halo Top is known for our unique taste profiles and while we definitely took our inspiration from classic Canadian desserts, we think our fans will really love our irresistible take on them.”
The Canadian Halo Top pints are available nationally at Loblaws and associated banner stores, Save-On-Foods, Federated Co-operatives and Metro Ontario.
Halo Top is also bringing back for a limited time its seasonal Peaches & Cream pint, available at Metro Ontario, Whole Foods Ontario and Whole Foods West.
In its US market, Halo Top has already made several additions to its portfolio in 2020. These include the introduction of seven keto-friendly ice cream flavours and the launch of a new range of low-calorie ice cream pops.
