The new advert, created by The Clinton Partnership, Free Range Fun, was filmed on a real Happy Egg farm and stars producer Jean-Paul Michalski and his flock.
Set to the soundtrack Girls Just Wanna Have Fun – especially re-recorded for Happy Eggs by X Factor songstress Alexandra Burke – the advert features happy hens enjoying their surroundings, which include towers to perch on, sandpits for dust-bathing and natural play areas with logs, foliage and cut branches.
.
The advert will make its debut on 5 October during ITV1’s The X Factor. It will then run throughout the month in primetime slots including Downton Abbey and Coronation Street.
Steve Horton, marketing director at The Happy Egg Co, said: “With this advert, we wanted to be completely transparent and show consumers exactly how our hens live, so the best way to do this was to use one of our own farms and flocks. The campaign offers a great insight into the life of our girls and the ways in which we go above and beyond to deliver the very best-tasting eggs to our customers.”
