Honey-infused drinks brand Just Bee has secured new listings in premium retail outlets Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason, as well as with national distributors including Tree of Life and Epicurium Wholesale.
The new brand taps into consumer trends for drinks without refined sugar or artificial sweeteners and has been well received by consumers since its launch in the spring, the company said.
The range of drinks has been listed nationally in Selfridges, as well as in London with Fortnum & Mason, while the brand continues its search for additional regional and national distributors. The three products launched this year use only honey as a natural sweetener with no refined sugar or artificial sweeteners, and are 100% natural with less than 4g of sugar per 100ml and fewer than 50 calories in each 330ml carton.
Available in apple and ginger, blueberry and lemon, and lemon and green tea varieties – each with a hint of honey – they feature a recommended retail price of £1.69.
Just Bee’s Joe Harper said: “We are a new and very different brand, and we are delighted with the reaction from consumers so far. The reception to Just Bee has been extremely positive. Everybody’s awareness of the refined sugar levels in drinks is growing each week and Just Bee is a healthy and natural alternative.
“We are delighted to be working with Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason. Both immediately understood and supported our concept for using honey as a healthy, natural alternative. We are extremely excited for the future and are currently looking for additional distributors to partner with and grow the Just Bee brand.”
