US-based Junction Solutions won the Best processing innovation category with its Blend Optimizer and was a finalist in the Best technology innovation category with CLEARthru, a wireless traceability application.
Loretta Gasper, PR consultant for Junction Solutions, said: “We are honoured to receive this prestigious award in the food and beverage industry. This recognition highlights the innovation and quality of Junction Solutions’ enterprise applications and the value it delivers to our food and beverage manufacturing customers.
“We have already posted an announcement on our award win to our website and have distributed the news through all of our social media channels. A news release was also distributed to our industry and IT media list. We will be sending out communication to all of our industry technology, channel and distribution partners. As the No.1 US partner reseller for Microsoft Dynamics AX, we will be sending communication on the award to Microsoft’s corporate, product and field teams. In addition, this news will be added to all of our trade show/in-person event campaigns and we will be referencing this with all of our analyst relations as well.
“We will continue to further expand into the food and beverage and related industries. Junction Solutions will continue to invest significantly in food and beverage manufacturing application development and services that support our customers’ continued growth. With these applications, we are helping our customers expand into new business arenas and new geographies.”

The International Society of Beverage Technologists won the Best social media campaign category for Threadspecs.com.
ISBT executive director Larry Hobbs said: “Having the efforts of the ThreadSpecs Committee and the ISBT recognised in such a visible way is important, as we focus on raising the awareness of the benefits the Society brings to members as well as the global beverage industry.
“We will be highlighting the award on our website and LinkedIn page. We plan to include it as part of our 60th Anniversary celebrations at BevTech in April, as well as honouring committee members who participated in the ThreadSpecs effort.
“The ThreadSpecs committee continues to review new designs as well as looking at updated performance reports on PCO 1881 in the marketplace. As with the seminars we presented at InterBev, ISBT has had recent success with providing educational programs and other technical content to other trade associations connected with the beverage industry. These programs fit our education mandate and expand our archives of free online seminars which can be easily accessed by our members around the world.
“The awards event was a perfect showcase to capture the growth in innovation and the truly original ideas reflecting the demand for new concepts across the global beverage industry.”
