Isotonic sports drink brand iPro Sport has enrolled England cricketers Ravi Bopara and Moeen Ali as global brand ambassadors.
The two international cricketers, who play for Essex and Worcestershire respectively, will support the brand at educational and sporting events and are heavily involved with outgoing marketing communications, the company said. It follows a series of professional partnerships for the brand and “coincides with major expansion plans and distribution drive through retail listings”.
Available in orange and pineapple, berry mix and citrus blend varieties, iPro Sport contains complex carbohydrates and is rich in vitamins B6, B12 and C. Naturally sweetened using stevia, it “is proven to replenish the body with minerals which are lost through sweat,” its maker claimed.
Moeen Ali said: “The brand’s slogan is ‘hydration at its natural best’ and I couldn’t agree more. I am privileged to be working with such a great and honest brand which aids my sporting ability and rehydration process – particularly significant for the imminent World Cup with the climate challenges we face in Australia.”
And Ravi Bopara added: “The role and partnership was an easy decision as the product speaks for itself. As sportsmen, we need the best support at all times to keep us at match fitness and iPro Sport offers this with its nutritional and all-round benefits.” iPro Sport marketing director Lisa Marraffa said: “We’re thrilled to have Ravi and Moeen on board with us. There is no better way of promoting our drinks’ benefits other than through the players themselves. It is fantastic to have the support from such highly respected professional sportsmen.”
