Brown-Forman-owned Jack Daniel’s will expand its UK whiskey range by introducing the limited-edition Legacy Edition Bottle, the first whiskey in a new series which celebrates the history of the brand.
The Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey Legacy Edition Bottle features a green label with a gold trim, which is inspired by a historic iteration of the iconic Old No. 7 whiskey and celebrates the drink’s “rich and colourful history.”
The 43% ABV drink features the same spicy amber whiskey associated with the Old No.7 brand, but in a collectable format.
Consumers will also receive a complimentary embossed tin sign gift if they purchase a bottle of the new whiskey between the 8th and 28th of November.
Sandra Brunet, marketing director at Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, said: “We’re excited to bring back this striking green and gold label for the first of the Legacy Edition Bottles Series.
“The label has a mysterious history, much like that of the brand and it’s a perfect way to launch the series and celebrate over 150 years of our fine sipping whiskey.
“The bottle also offers consumers the perfect gift in the lead up to the festive season.”
70cl bottles of the limited-edition whiskey will be available nationwide from Asda stores from 8 September, with a suggested retail price of £30 per bottle.
