Jamie’s Italian has teamed up with Neapolitan espresso brand Kimbo to launch a bespoke Italian coffee menu in its restaurants across the UK.
Beginning today, diners at Jamie’s Italian will be able to enjoy a rich premium blend – obtained from selected origin coffee, subject to strict quality controls and brewed according to extensive knowledge and craftsmanship, typical of the Neapolitan tradition – as part of the restaurant chain’s new Italian coffee offering.
The new menu includes a wide selection of coffees – including macchiatos, cappuccinos and lattes, as well as speciality coffees such as caffè corretto, which features amaretto and cream; caffè marocchino, with chocolate and frothy milk; and caffè sheckerato, which combines fresh espresso with ice and sugar syrup.
Choosing Kimbo was the culmination of six months’ worth of meticulous research into the best classic Neapolitan-style espresso, undertaken by Jamie’s Italian founder and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.
Kimbo chairman Paola Rubino said: “We are absolutely delighted to work with Jamie Oliver and his great team. We share the same love and passion for authenticity and tradition, and this is reflected in the new bespoke coffee menu that we created together.
“This is an exciting opportunity to promote the culture of Neapolitan espresso in the UK through the renowned Jamie’s Italian restaurants and we look forward to a long and successful collaboration.”
