The budding fashionista sculpted a block of cheddar to make the heel, and a stale cheese sandwich was used for part of the platform sole.
The front of the shoe was moulded from more cheddar and extra cheese was melted and shaped to embellish the design.
Dillon’s cheesey footwear is part of a range by students from Bath Spa University.
They will be displayed at the 2011 Royal Bath & West Show to promote the region’s cheese. Pilgrims Choice Cheddar commissioned the range using their own cheese to launch a national ‘cheese couture’ competition.
Hannah Jenkins from the competition sponsor, Pilgrim’s Choice, said: “We had an incredible response from the public last year to our Cheese Sculpture Awards Class, where we showcased the world’s largest cheese sculpture.
“This year, we are set to go one step further and I can promise visitors won’t be disappointed.”
The shoes can be seen at The Royal Bath and West Show from 1 to 4 June at the Bath & West Showground at Shepton Mallet in Somerset.
