Beverage brand Kill Cliff has added a new lemonade and blackberry flavour to its sports recovery drink range.
Berry Legit is “formulated to be healthier and tastier”, the company claimed, containing 25mg of caffeine and only 20 calories in every 12oz can. Naturally sweetened, it replaces micronutrient levels and combines vitamins, enzymes, electrolytes and hydration for post-workout replenishment. The new product joins the brand’s existing Tasty, Free Fall and Double Awesomeness varieties.
Its launch will be supported by a marketing campaign featuring female lumberjack Erin Lavoie and “pre-eminent CrossFit athlete” Matt Fraser.
Kill Cliff CEO Todd Ehrlich said: “Berry Legit is like drinking a can of charisma with a flavor our fans have been asking for. The awesome combination provides athletes and fitness-minded consumers alike with yet another reason to choose Kill Cliff as their recovery drink to help replenish their body post workout or any time they are thirsty.”
The product is available in a range of size formats for prices between $2.99 and $10.99 from US outlets of retailers Walmart, Kroger, QT, Vitamin Shoppe and RaceTrac. A percentage of the company’s proceeds are donated to military and veterans’ charities.
