Swedish cider brand Kopparberg has announced plans for a £5m investment in a summer marketing campaign that will seek to drive sales of its fruit-flavoured ciders.
The campaign will incorporate events, social media engagement, and digital and outdoor promotional activity focussed on the brand’s strawberry and lime, and elderflower and lime, variants. Kopparberg will also use the campaign as an opportunity to introduce consumers to its new frozen fruit cider range, the launch of which we first reported in April.
Featuring the tagline “happens here”, the campaign follows the success of Kopparberg’s previous Elderflower Beards creative in 2014 and takes inspiration from trends rooted in tattoing and body art. It was developed by advertising agency 18 Feet and Rising.
From May to August, Kopparberg will use the creative as part of its largest outdoor campaign to date with over 1,900 sites and approximately 4,000 six-sheets in eight British cities, including London, Manchester and Glasgow.
