La Coop fédérée has announced that is has agreed a deal to acquire Standard Nutrition’s Canadian business for an undisclosed fee.
The sale will include Standard Nutrition Canada’s feed processing and grain-handling facilities and retail store in Winnipeg, Manitoba; its retail store and warehouse in Brandon, Manitoba; its premix facility, warehouse and retail store in Lethbridge, Alberta and its retail stores, offices and warehouses in Red Deer, Alberta and Swiftcurrent, Saskatchewan.
All of Standard Nutrition Canada’s operations have now been integrated into the livestock production sector of La Coop fédérée’s agri-business Division.
Standard Nutrition’s US assets and operations are not included as part of the deal.

“Partnering with La Coop fédérée, a true Canadian Ag Industry powerhouse, is now the occasion to kick-start our growth plan for the decade to come, with the mutual goal of supporting Canadian agricultural producers.”
