In addition to branding on the car and drivers’ overalls, Lucozade will supply Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton and Vodafone McLaren Mercedes with their range of sports nutrition products.
Vice president for sales at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Great Britain and Ireland, Jon Workman, believes this new partnership will not only improve performance on the track but also in-store.
“With this new partnership, retailers can anticipate Lucozade sales racing up a gear,” he said. “Association with some of the UK’s favourite sporting heroes will accelerate consumer demand for Lucozade.”
