The company plans to invest more than Rs 100 crore in the next year, even as it continues on its fast-paced growth to take its sales to Rs 1,000 crore in three years’ time.
Dhirendra Singh, chairman & MD of Manpasand Beverages, said: “We expect strong growth in future, as there is huge opportunity in packaged beverage market being fuelled by a rise in disposable income, changing lifestyle and a burgeoning younger middle class. We are expanding our manufacturing facilities as demand for our products far outstrips our existing capacities. Manpasand is also further expanding its distribution network across India. The beverages industry is expected to see 35% to 40% growth in foreseeable future. In the next five years, we expect the size of the fruit drink industry to more than double to around Rs 12,000 crore, to Rs 15,000 crore.”
