Packaging group Mondi has appointed Thomas Gröner as its new head of innovation as it seeks to “develop value-added packaging solutions” for the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
Gröner brings more than 20 years of experience as a packaging manager for Nestlé Purina PetCare and leader of packaging development teams across Europe. According to his new employers, he will support the consumer goods packaging innovation team to more effectively understand and fulfil the needs of customers and consumers.
Gröner said: “We have got to be at the leading edge of product development to ensure our customers’ future success.”
