Nampak’s multi-award-winning Infini bottle was also highly commended in the ‘Responsible Waste Management’ category.
Through winning the Sir Peter Parker Award, as well as the Infini bottle being recognised for its ‘green’ credentials and reduced carbon footprint, it has triumphed over 60 other shortlisted competitors, including Wahaca restaurants and HSBC.
“We’re delighted that Nampak has been honoured the Sir Peter Parker Award at The Sustainable City Awards,” said managing director Eric Collins. “We’re very proud of the efforts we take to ensure Nampak’s procedures and products are the very best that they can be and sustainability is at the heart of the Nampak business. This latest recognition for Infini highlights our commitment to continuing to develop the innovative, lightweight bottle, to help reduce the bottle’s carbon footprint even further.”
