Natural Balance Foods has given its Nākd breakfast bars range a refresh as at aims to appeal to consumers looking for on-the-go breakfast options.
Consisting of fruit, nuts and gluten-free oats, the line is available in the UK in four flavours: banana bread, apple Danish, berry bliss and cocoa twist.
The company claims that each bar has less than 100 calories and counts as one of a consumer’s five portions of fruit and vegetables a day.
Natural Balance Foods said the bars aim to appeal to busy consumers who are shunning breakfast cereal in favour of more convenient options.
Marina Love, marketing director for Natural Balance Foods, said: “Our new Nākd breakfast bars offer retailers the perfect opportunity to increase grab-and-go breakfast sales and we’d recommend they place the bars in impulse locations and alongside other morning goods to drive breakfast occasions in their stores.”
The revamp follows last year’s launch of premium Nākd snack bars in three different chocolate flavours: cocoa-raspberry, cocoa-sea salt and cocoa-mandarin.
The new breakfast bars are now available in the UK with 30g bars retailing at 75p and four packs at £2.49.
