An independent certification body has audited Naturex’s risk management plans, supply chain and manufacturing processes.
They also took into account the application of complete and rigorous analytical testing programmes for raw materials and ingredients, which are targeted at the food and beverage and nutraceutical industries.
The FSSC 22000 is the highest level of certification in food safety management systems within the FSSC programme. It is approved by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), which also recognises BRC1, IFS2 and SQF3.
