Nestlé Hellas SA breached competition rules in the retail market for instant coffee from 2002 and 2006, according to the competition watchdog.
The regulator said the company would incur further penalties of €20,000 if it continues to shoulder out other coffee providers in its deals with supermarkets, restaurants and distributors.
According to reports, Nestlé has denied the claims that it wrongfully dominated the market. The commission began investigating the company in March 2008.
The ruling is open to appeal at Greece’s administrative courts.
