This follows its continued work supporting manufacturers in the chilled and produce sectors.
Fowler Welch, which operates end-to-end ambient, chilled and FMCG supply chain services, has been appointed to provide storage, pick and distribution services for Belgian-based pâté manufacturer Detry in the fulfilment of its contract with Morrisons.
In addition, Fowler Welch’s Hilsea depot has been appointed to manage internal stock transfers of tomato products for the UK’s leading organic and special variety tomato grower, Chichester-based Wight Salads.
The Hilsea depot in Portsmouth has also been chosen by savoury snack manufacturer Pork Farms to manage distribution on its Morrisons account. The team will be distributing pork pies, scotch eggs and sausage rolls for the Shaftesbury-based firm.
The Teynham site in Kent has been selected to manage and store Capespan’s range of fruit for schools before delivering products to education catering distributors.
