The ad will premiere on UK screens on 8 October during The X Factor.
The ad is filmed in the vibrant setting of a family food and music festival in Suffolk, in front of a real festival audience. Bursting with energy, the Clover Lighter choir comprises authentic advocates for people living a healthy life to the full. Chosen for their desire to balance taste & health, the choir helps to bring the Clover Lighter brand to life.
Singing (and rapping) the classic hip-hop song Can I Kick It? and transforming the lyrics to ‘Can I have it?’, the choir helps to deliver the brand message that with 32 calories per 7g serving, Clover Lighter gives people more freedom to enjoy the foods they fancy without feeling guilty.
Head of marketing for butters and spreads, Louise Pike, said: “We wanted to launch a campaign that connects with its audience and lightens their mood, helping us to disrupt and grab their attention. The ad campaign will air on TV in October and will be supported with outdoor and cinema advertising, experiential marketing and PR, as well as a dedicated Clover Lighter Facebook page.
