To help these companies address the business cost of their environmental impacts, NSF has formed a partnership with Trucost Plc, a leading environmental research organisation.
Trucost Plc provides information on company emissions and natural resource usage in financial as well as quantity terms, to help companies understand how environmental issues could affect future earnings. Together, NSF International and Trucost Plc provide new environmental measurement, management and reporting products and solutions.
NSF also has a Sustainable Product Certification Program that certifies products to US national sustainability standards to verify a company’s ‘green’ product claim through audits, testing, reviews and protocol development.
