Podravka to start own agricultural production

Podravka is interested in having ensured own raw materials on almost a thousand acres of government land. Zdravko Šestak presented this attitude to the Koprivnica-Križevci county head Darko Koren, the City of Koprivnica and municipality prefects where this land is located.

The meeting was also attended by the agricultural land board head, Željko Vincek, who said that it’s the aim of the ministry of agriculture, fishery and rural development to support municipalities and towns.

“We posses a good team of experts, we have the will and the strength, and most of all an interest to develop primary agricultural production for those crops that we will be able to successfully place to the market and be competitive,” said Šestak.
