Among them will be representatives of the 140 plus strong UK workforce sacked suddenly last month as the company sought to get round its legal obligations to the Bootle workforce.
The workers, represented by Unite the union, are furious that MMP dismissed them illegally in its haste to close the Liverpool site in March.
Unite general secretary, Len McCluskey, is demanding that MMP management meets with him as a matter of urgency to address the appalling treatment of the workers, and reverse the closure and the sacking of four union officials with immediate effect.
If not, Unite will continue its campaign against MMP which has seen their clients targeted, including global cereal manufacturers.
MMP has refused to meet with the worker’s union over the decision to close the MMP site. Unite also wants MMP to honour the original agreed redundancy offer for the dismissed workers.
The protest, outside the Grand Hotel from 10.00 am tomorrow is part of Unite’s national wave of action against the multinational employer MMP.
Ian Tonks, Unite national officer, said: “With no negotiation and no proper redundancy procedure, the illegal closure of the Bootle site is a disgrace.
“MMP shareholders should take note. We will fight this fight for as long as it takes. We will shout from the rooftops about how abysmally this Austrian company has treated UK workers.
“We urge MMP shareholders to use their influence to instruct senior management to talk to Unite now and get this loyal workforce back to work.”
Unite has written letter to shareholders and customers warning them that the company has broken British law and international labour standards.
