This summer, Brits arriving at Malaga airport will see the ‘Cool Britannia’ themed ads in the arrivals hall, and Brits who now live in Spain will be privy to the ads in ex-pat newspaper Sur (in English).
In addition to the ads, a survey was conducted asking Britons about what they missed the most when on holiday. 29%* stated that they missed a good old-fashioned cup of tea with fresh, British milk!
Sandy Wilkie, sales and marketing director for Robert Wiseman Dairies, said: “You can get all manner of favourite British fayre when you’re away on holiday: bacon and eggs, fish and chips even a curry, but not a cup of tea with fresh, British milk. Well, we’ve answered your prayers!”
Puriti is available in whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed varieties has more than double the shelf life of standard milk thanks to a unique ‘next generation’ micro-filtration process that ensures the milk stays fresher for longer.
“We’re aware that there’s a huge market in Spain for great-tasting British food and drink, which is being driven by increasing numbers of British people holidaying, retiring or taking a second home in the area, and Puriti will give them that little taste of home,” said Wilkie.
