London-based drinks brand Bloody Drinks has launched a range of canned Bloody Marys into the UK market.
Crafted using high quality ingredients and canned for freshness, convenience, and sustainability, the first product in the Bloody Drinks range is ‘The Bloody Classic’, positioned as the brand’s signature product.
According to the brand, The Bloody Classic recipe includes premium vodka and cream sherry for body, Italian and Spanish tomatoes for natural sweetness, fresh lemons for acidity, and Worcestershire and soy sauce for a rich, umami-packed base. A peppery pickle juice and hot sauce, made using a mixture of habanero peppers and bird’s eye chillies, gives depth and the cocktail’s classic kick.
Later in 2019, the brand is set to launch The Bloody Samurai, a Japanese twist on The Bloody Classic, with ingredients including dry sake, natural wasabi, pickled ginger, teriyaki, white miso and soy. The Virgin, meanwhile, will offer an alternative to the Bloody Classic for non-drinkers.
With an RRP of £6.99, the brand hopes to provide a way for bars and restaurants to deliver Bloody Marys in convenient, single-serve cans to eliminate wastage and the need to stock multiple perishable ingredients. The can format also aims to ensure consistency and ease of service in fast-paced venues.
