The ReFit your Lines, ReShape your Future programme was designed as a complete packaging solution that would benefit manufacturers, retailers and consumers around the world. So far, the programme has been successful in satisfying consumer demand for new experiences, as well as ensuring great results for our customers and their retail partners. By working directly with customers in different markets, Tetra Pak achieved sales of 2.6 billion packages in 2016 with 6 billion expected in 2017. Brands like Kagome (Japan), Coro and Safio (Saudi Arabia), Rica (Dominican Republic) have all have been upgrading their existing packaging lines with the support of the ReFit your Lines, ReShape your Future programme.
Tetra Pak has been measuring the results so far through consumer research, looking particularly at their responses to the ReShape programme in markets such as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Vietnam. Comments from consumers have been overwhelmingly positive, praising the shape for looking ‘new and stylish’. They also like the ‘vivid and lively look of the package’.
Similar research conducted among consumers in Spain, Portugal and Russia for the Slim Leaf shape also generated positive reactions, noting the improved shape and creases that create a 3D effect. Elsewhere, in Asia, consumers from Thailand, Korea and Japan found the package portfolio significantly more eye-catching on the shelf than the current offer from their favourite brands.
Tetra Pak is always looking for new ways to provide added value for our customers across the portfolio, now and in the future. Building on the success of the ReFit and ReShape programme, we will continue to work to create exciting new packages, shapes and sizes to meet the evolving demands of consumers, everywhere.
