At a special ceremony during BrauBeviale 2014, Rexam, a leading global beverage can maker, renewed its headline sponsorship of the World Beverage Innovation Awards for the third year.
Rexam’s European director of marketing and strategic planning Ana Neale joined FoodBev Media director Bill Bruce to sign the contract. The World Beverage Innovation Awards were established in 2003 and have become the industry’s most successful awards scheme.
Bill Bruce said: “The World Beverage Innovation Awards succeed in bringing together innovations and initiatives from the industry’s largest global players, alongside those from entrepreneurs and start-ups. Every year the international judging panel is impressed and often surprised by the levels of creativity and genuine advances in technology, packaging, ingredients and marketing.
“FoodBev Media is delighted that Rexam has decided to continue its support for this important awards scheme for a third year. The awards will return to BrauBeviale in 2015 and next year’s scheme will be open for entries very soon.”
Ana Neale commented: “We are delighted to sponsor the Beverage Innovation Awards for the third year running. Innovation is at the heart of Rexam’s business and we are fully committed to supporting new and existing brands within a variety of developing beverage categories.”
