The company says that the two-year agreement with the British sporting hero ‘will help secure the First Milk reputation for delivering great-tasting, naturally healthy dairy nutrition through its range of foods’.
Gunnell will provide insight on the benefits of effective nutrition and protein within a sports arena, as well as a busy mum, and applying this every day in the family home. She will also be integral to the creation, development and sales of pioneering new areas of focus for the company.
“Sally brings with her a passion for healthy living,” said First Milk marketing director, David Young. “She’s someone that has real-world knowledge of what it takes to be successful, as a sportsperson and as a mother. As such, she’s a great asset to First Milk and I have every confidence that we’ll continue to drive NPD with her at our side.”
During 2013, First Milk celebrated the wins of a number of industry awards for its new products, including ‘Best Functional Dairy Product’ for Lake District Dairy Co Quark at the Global Dairy Innovation Awards. First Milk is now continuing to work with its customers to build on its national listings, as well as develop further award-winning, naturally nutritious, products for the UK and international markets.
