In South Korea, Sanofi has launched a new vanilla-flavoured probiotic supplement for children under the global Cenovis Kids brand.
The new teddy bear-shaped Snow Probiotics have been designed specifically for children, and are produced by Israel-based Anlit. The easily chewable line is made using Anlit’s proprietary microencapsulation technology, which “overcomes taste and texture challenges” to provide a tasty and healthy solution for children.
According to Anlit’s nutrition scientists, the secret to developing a high-quality supplement for children is making sure that all the active ingredients, especially its formulae containing friendly lactic acid bacteria and prebiotics, deliver the promised benefits while maintaining a flavour that appeals to children.
Cenovis Kids brand manager Joo Yuen Park said: “We chose to work with Anlit since they have unique dietary supplement solutions designed for children. They specialise in making children’s supplements attractive to kids and their parents, helping to improve the child’s health and well-being.”
Anlit vice-president of marketing and sales Shai Karlinsky added: “Making an ideal supplement for kids is a complicated task. As a father, I’m committed to providing a balanced diet for my kids. But not all children follow a healthy diet. Our job is to help them, and their parents, improve their daily nutrition without compromising on flavour.”
