In Scotland, CCGB’s longstanding involvement with club football will continue and will now be enhanced through a new official partnership with the SPL.
Alan Halliday, regional director Scotland, Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd, said: “We’re really pleased to become an official partner of the Scottish Premier League. The SPL provides a fantastic platform for us to really connect with local communities and fans who are passionate about their clubs across the country. We’re very much looking forward to working together with the SPL from the start of the 2010/11 season and over the course of the next three years.”
Neil Doncaster, SPL chief executive, said: “I’m delighted that the SPL will be working with such an iconic brand. We look forward to developing this partnership over the next three years to promote the SPL up and down the country.”
Coca-Cola Great Britain continues to invest in the game at all levels and is one of the game’s biggest supporters on a domestic and international level. Current sponsorships include the Fifa World Cup, the UEFA European Championships and the Football League.
