Syrup manufacturer Sweetbird has launched its first iced tea syrup box, which offers on-trade retailers a “solution for easily prepared drinks with a light and fresh feel”.
The box has paired two iced tea flavours of syrup – peach, and cucumber and mint – and contains three 1l bottles of each. It also contains syrup pumps and two clear jugs for pre-made iced tea that retailers can display on countertops to tempt consumers. When added to still or sparkling water, three pumps of each syrup make a 12oz drink.
The new products join Sweetbird’s tea syrup range, which includes the existing chai, original iced tea, jasmine-lime iced tea, passionfruit-lemon iced tea, raspberry iced tea and watermelon iced green tea varieties.
All are free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives, containing no high-fructose corn syrup and being both GMO-free and vegan-friendly. The new iced tea syrup boxes will be available for on-trade customers to order from the start of May.
