New network capabilities to be introduced by T-Systems will increase the volume of traffic supported on available bandwidth, while reducing total cost of ownership.
“At SABMiller, we are globally integrating our business, and as a result we are ensuring our technology is ‘fit for purpose’ and ‘value for money’,” said Peter Brickley, SABMiller global CIO. “We have decided to implement a multi-vendor global data network. T-Systems is a well-positioned partner for our technology infrastructure in Europe and core services, offering us the capabilities we require from a world-class network, and capable of supporting SABMiller’s future growth.”
The new network will deliver access to data for approximately 12,000 SABMiller end-users. In addition, T-Systems will provide capabilities such as security, telepresence, remote access, IP-VPN and application performance monitoring.
