Four of these had a US focus, four were in Europe and two were by Asian companies. Four were for beverages, three for food, two in ingredients and one in dairy.
The combined value of these 10 was $97bn. The 30 over $1bn totalled $134bn, 54% more than the 26 over $1bn in 2012, at $87bn.
