The Coconut Collaborative has confirmed new listings with British supermarket chains Morrisons, Ocado and Sainsbury’s, as the brand grows nationwide distribution of its coconut milk yogurts and desserts.
The company’s blueberry, raspberry, and mango and passionfruit-flavoured yogurts in 120g pots, as well as the Natural Big Pot 350g, will launch in 280 of Morrisons’ UK stores, as the supermarket becomes a retail partner to the brand for the first time.
From the end of February, Ocado will expand its range of Coconut Collaborative products to include the new vanilla rice puddings and little chic pots, launched in January. The products will join the existing yogurt and frozen Snowconut products, making it 12 products in total. Sainsbury’s have also broadened the range, adding Mango Snowconut, Blueberry 120g pot and Natural Big Pot 350g to its existing product offering, as well as increasing the number of stores to 387 for the frozen range and 191 stores for the yogurts.
The Coconut Collaborative co-founder James Averdieck said: “The popularity of our yogurt and frozen range over the last year has blown us away. We know there’s an ever-growing appetite for free-from food options that taste indulgent but don’t compromise on taste. We’re extremely excited to see new retail partners coming on board and our current stockists expanding their range.”
The products are free from dairy and gluten, plus they are suitable for vegans. The Coconut Collaborative has five flavours in the yogurt range: almond, natural, blueberry, mango and passionfruit, and raspberry. It also has four variants in the frozen range – vanilla, chocolate, mango, and raspberry Snowconut – as well as the new little chic pots and rice pudding desserts, all made with coconut milk.
