UK protein snack brand The Protein Ball Co has announced a rebrand and the release of several new flavours in a revamped product range.
The Protein Ball Co. has refined its range to include ten flavours across three new categories: High Protein, Plant Protein and Breakfast-to-go.
The new High Protein range will include Peanut Butter, Cacao + Orange, Coconut + Macadamia and Cherry Bakewell flavours; its Plant Protein range will feature Lemon + Pistachio, Goji + Coconut, Raspberry Brownie and Peanut Butter; whilst the new Breakfast-to-go range will include two new flavours: Coffee Oat Muffin and Blueberry Oat Muffin.
Recipes for the products have also been reformulated to include ingredients such as Vitamin B12, Vitamin C and Vitamin D3, while the products themselves will also be gluten-free, wheat-free, GMO-free, palm oil-free and high in fibre.
Packaging for all products has also been redesigned, featuring a new logo, and the brand claims this shift is targeted at the sports nutrition category.
Matt Hunt, founder of The Protein Ball Co, said: “The sports nutrition category is very competitive and ever-changing so we wanted to relaunch our brand to appeal to a whole variety of consumers from sports people, to gym enthusiasts, fitness experts and healthy eating gurus.
“Protein is still the buzz word in the fitness industry, but people want healthy, clean proteins that they can grab and go.”
“By taking a close look at our branding and range of products, we’ve made tweaks and changes and introduced new flavours and categories to ensure that The Protein Ball Co. will appeal to anyone looking for a healthy, nutritious, delicious and satisfying snack.”
