The campaign, through regional one-day expos, provides information and resources to individuals and family members who have been diagnosed with diabetes. Admission to the expos is free to all.
Ray Welch, president of ThirsTea Corp, said: “We are pleased to participate in the campaign again this year. We feel it is important to support the educational efforts of the American Diabetes Association, and these regional outreach expos allow us to interact with individuals who use our sugar-free product line.”
After the introduction of their “home-use” product line late last year, ThirsTea is looking to secure retailers to carry their sugar-free product line. “Our products are a delicious alternative to sugar-free colas and we’ve been getting rave reviews from the tens of thousands of diabetics we’ve met thru our participation in these expos. We’ve been selling the product line direct thru our online store, but our goal is to simplify the purchasing process and make ThirsTea available at local stores,” stated Welch.
