Upbeat was launched in May this year and is already stocked in Tesco, Waitrose and Holland & Barrett outlets. The beverage contains 20g of fresh whey protein per 250ml bottle and its core audience comprises busy commuters, breakfast skippers and keen exercisers.
“We’re delighted that in just over six months the brand has gained national distribution in three key retailers within the UK,” said The Good Whey Company commercial director Julian Aitken. “Alongside Tesco online our consumers are now able to get Upbeat delivered to their homes via Ocado and are able to pick up a bottle on the go in selected WHSmith travel stores.”
