Brad Clemes – senior director, global water and enhanced hydration – is based in Brussels. A native of Canada, Clemes (49) has been with the company for more than 21 years.
“It is with great sadness that we can confirm Brad Clemes, a long-time associate of The Coca-Cola Company, was a passenger on Air France flight 447,” said Dana Bolden, a spokesperson for The Coca-Cola Company. “Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Brad and his family, and we stand ready to provide any necessary assistance to the family during this difficult time.”
Bolden said the company has been communicating with Air France and other authorities. He declined to comment further out of respect for Brad Clemes and his family.
Brazil’s defence minister, Nelson Jobim, has said that debris located off the northeast coast of Brazil is wreckage from the flight. No survivors have been found. The flight, carrying 228 people, departed from Rio de Janeiro and was en route to Paris.
