Whole World Water is a three-year hospitality and tourism campaign that addresses the fact that nearly a billion people don’t have access to clean drinking water.
By leveraging the potential of the hospitality and tourism industry to spur global change, the model encourages spas, hotels, resorts and restaurants to filter, bottle and sell their own water, and contribute 10% of the proceeds to the Whole World Water Fund.
“Vivreau has been extolling the virtues of filtered water for over 25 years with regards to reducing carbon footprint, improving environmental sustainability and capitalising on the profit potential from water,” said Stephen Charles, managing director of Vivreau. “The Whole World Water initiative takes this one step further by ensuring that this same pure, clean, filtered water is the catalyst to help fund projects across the globe.”
