The pop-up cafe will be staged over two days at the Rotary Bar & Diner in Shoreditch and will explore the hottest topics in the technology industry, with discussions and fireside chats hosted by The Wall Street Journal’s editors in Europe.
Subjects include the state of play in gaming, the impact technology has on democracy, emerging online music models with speakers from Deezer and Songkick, and the issue of music copyright (with insight from Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, whose band famously unlocked its back catalogue of music on Spotify this year).
The Wall Street Journal staged its inaugural pop-up Tech Café in London last September, and the concept has now gone global with cafe openings in Berlin, New York and Korea.
The Wall Street Journal Tech Café will be held in The Rotary Bar & Diner on 25 September until 26 September.
